The Tingkrajad Festival is Coming!

The Suphan Buri Tingkrajad Festival at the Suphan Buri City Pillar Shrine,in Suphan Buri, Thailand, runs from August 13th through the 17. During this Mahayana Buddhist Festival, the Chinese Association will have a large alms-offering ceremony for the poor. This is also an excellent chance to see all things Chinese, including dragon bands, Chinese operas, and dance, firecrackers, parades, firecrackers, food, outdoor movies, and of course, firecrackers.

a huge dragon building that is 35 meters high and 135 meters long. 5ooo years of Chinese history, philosophy, beliefs and their close ties with Thailand are shown within. The illusion of a huge golden dragon, floating on clouds during a sunny afternoon, is a sight to behold!
