Chiang Mai’s first book fair is coming on June 25th – July 3rd, 2016, open from 11.00 am – 8.00 pm. It’s organized by the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT) and will be held at the Chiangmai Hall, CentralPlaza Chiangmai Airport. This is the first and the biggest book fair in the northern Thailand. On the first day, June 25th, we will be at the Booksmith’s booth no. E07 (see the floor plan below), to sign and give away bookmarks and a THAILAND 180º bag for customers who purchase the THAILAND 180º book from The Booksmith, on that day. (Limited to supply on hand~come early!) You’ll also get a chance to meet and greet many authors and shop till you drop for many special promotions from book stores and publishers.

Chiangmai Hall is a building located in the same area as CentralPlaza Chiangmai Airport. It’s kind of behind the mall and has plenty of parking. Chiangmai Hall is a large 3,000 sqm. facility built in a modern northern architectural design style. It is a great place to hold event functions such as conferences, meetings, concerts and trade exhibitions.

The Booksmith: A unique bookstore with a passion for Art & Design, in Chiang Mai
We love The Booksmith store and are proud to team up with them for this book fair! Although it looks like a small bookstore, it is full of great books from Europe, USA, and Singapore. About the Authors
Photographer George Edward Giunca, and his Thai wife, Apisatha, have traveled around Thailand armed with a circular fisheye lens to create a photo essay on the rich cultural diversity, and abundant natural beauty of the Kingdom of Thailand. Fleeing from angry water buffaloes, slapping huge mosquitoes, watching exotic festivals and religious rituals, gorging on delicious spicy food, applying aloe vera cream to sunburned skin, wading through rice paddies, getting drenched to the bone by heavy monsoon rains, and gawking at breath-taking scenery; made it a journey of epic proportions! The result is the book, THAILAND 180º. Later, they traveled extensively through Myanmar, Malaysia, and India, gathering a massive collections of 180º photos. They currently live in Chiang Mai where they continue to blog and are now working on a CHIANG MAI 180º book.
